THE SUNSET DECK

Watch the sun set from the iconic Sunset Deck that overlooks the fields of the neighbouring farms.

In winter the deck sits over the flowing McLeod Creek, while in summer, listen to the birds and cicadas chattering away.

On a good day, an emu or two might be grazing in the adjacent fields.

THE FOREST LIFE
Wildlife abounds on the property.
We have resident kangaroos, phascogales, rare frogs and small fish, possums, quenda/bandicoots, bobtails, monitor lizards, a large variety of birds and occasional emus. There are also some timid snakes that are best left to themselves.

Birnamwood is located in the Margaret River area,

the crown jewel of the West Australian wine growing, caves and surfing region.
